Getting around:

Once you are here, you have every form of transportation within blocks.

CitiBike: Only 300 feet away, at the SouthWest corner of Marcus Garvey Park you'll see a large CitiBike docking station (there's another one 700 feet away at the SouthEast corner). Bikes are available for rental download the app or a day pass at the citybikenyc site. You can go anywhere on the bike but if it's spring/summer and you want a true NYC experience, pedal up to Yankee Stadium (only 2.4 miles away) and catch a baseball game.

Bus: Just around the corner on 5th Avenue (200 feet away) is the W 120 St/5th Ave stop. You can take this bus down all of 5th Avenue, past "Millionaire's Row", Central Park, midtown and it's luxury boutiques, past the iconic NY Public Library, Empire State Building, Flatiron Building to it's end at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village.

Subway: The fastest way to get around for longer distances. The 2 and 3 subway lines run under Malcolm X Boulevard with stations at West 116th Street (.3 miles away) and West 125th Street (.4 miles). The 4, 5, and 6 trains also have stations at East 116th Street and East 125th Street on Lexington Ave (both .5 miles).

Taxi: You can hail a taxi right in front of the house! If the light is on at the top of the taxi, it is available. Just tell the driver where you want to go (giving them cross street references is better). If you are taking a taxi home, you can tell them, "take me to West 120th street just West of 5th Avenue" and they bring you home.

Train: Believe it or not, we have a major train station at 125th Street and Park Avenue serving Metro-North trains. You can take a day trip up the majestic Hudson Valley or to Connecticut and return walking home right from the station.

Walking: Always a New Yorker's preferred mode of transportation - you are steps from 5th Avenue and the start of it's famous "Museum Mile" with the world-renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art at it's conclusion.

Parking: There is a private lot a block away on 119th Street and 5th Ave. Street parking is generally available (please pay attention to signs to ensure no parking tickets!)
